Senior Embedded Software Engineer

About the Role:

As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you will be responsible for embedded code development with a small team of hardware and firmware specialists. Primarily focussed on the full code life cycle including, design, implementation and test of key enhancements. A robust understanding of microcontroller hardware and architectures is essential with a familiarity with microchip, ST Microelectronics devices and a keen interest in programming best practices. Experience of ‘Bare Metal’ C programming is essential and C#/Python programming is desirable. You will have demonstrable experience in source control practices (GIT knowledge is desirable) with an understanding of electronic test equipment (scopes & meters) and ability to interpret circuit diagrams. Experience in i2C, SPI, wireless protocols, PWM, ADC and UART is desirable with good development, documentation, release and revision management skills.

Head of Verticals

About the Role:

Numatic International are pleased to be recruiting for a Head of Verticals to join our sales team. The Head of Verticals will be accountable for building world class customer experiences and delivering exponential growth through new innovative customer offerings. Acting as a subject matter expert and leading a team of high performing specialists, the Head of Verticals will continually, in collaboration with the Commercial Sales Director, refine and evolve business strategy and ‘go to market’ strategy. Regularly reviewing working practices, the successful candidate will create and implement initiatives to identify and deliver on sales opportunities. The Head of Verticals will create and develop long-term, trusting and mutually valuable relationships with Numatic International’s vertical customers to ensure delivery of UK commercial sales, profit and budget.

Field Service Engineer / Demonstrator

About the Role:

This role is working for Numatic International in Chard, Somerset. However, you will be home based. Ideally, we are looking for people to join our team from the Kent / London / Sussex areas.

The Floorcare Demonstrator Engineer is accountable for providing pro-active day to day field support for the Floorcare equipment range to new and existing customers by:

• Ensuring machines are fit for use (servicing and maintenance)
• Demonstrating the benefits and capabilities of the Numatic International Floorcare range to ensure machines are
appropriate for the application (supporting the achievement of sales) whilst providing new user training on a chosen site.

You will be responsible for identifying appropriate support solutions for end users with minimal supervision to ensure customer needs are fully understood and efficiently met, including the benefits of Numatic International’s Service Level Agreement (SLA) schemes. Tasks will include direct communication with customers and the Field teams, both verbal and written whilst updating and accurately maintaining a customer database.

Working hours will predominantly be Monday to Friday, however there is a requirement to be part of the on-call rota for weekends and bank holidays.

Senior Business Analyst/ Business Analyst

About the Role:

As a Business Analyst/Senior Business Analyst (dependent on experience). You will be using your engagement, service/process design and analytical skills to support the design and delivery of our business’ technology solutions.

This role within our Business Analysis Team will be varied and interesting, where you will act as a key interface between the business teams, the broader IT team, and our implementation partners. We are currently going through a period of change and as a result you will be involved with broad range of projects and technologies; being responsible for the alignment of these to business objectives, technology principles and customer goals.

Welder - Paint Plant

About the Role:

The Welder will be responsible for operating appropriate equipment to put together mechanical structures or parts with a great deal of precision. Working alongside the team, the Welder will cut and join metals and other materials to produce equipment which is used in the production of Numatic products or produce parts of Numatic products.
The Welder will carry out a range of largely routine duties, following sketches and specifications, with some independence whilst undertaking procedures that will support continuous improvement and contribute to the work of the department.

Graduate Scheme Recruitment - Business Analyst

About the Role:

What does a Business Analyst do at Numatic?

  • Document and analyse processes to identify and recommend improvements,
  • Analyse data to spot trends, risks and opportunities, and recommend performance improvements,
  • Review and analyse requests to determine feasibility and recommend options, and
  • Work alongside other areas of the business to test and implement strategic solutions.

This role will be based at our Head Office campus in the heart of Somerset, Chard, and you will undertake a tailored 2-year programme. Your time will be primarily focussed on growing your business analysis and delivery skills, and will be also supported by:

  • Dedicated periods providing business analysis support exclusively to specific areas of the business so that you can build expertise and understanding of the unique needs of our different business departments,
  • Short placements across the IT and Digital Services department so you gain visibility across the full IT delivery and support lifecycle, and
  • Short placements within key areas of the business so that you get an understanding of making, shipping and selling our products, and supporting our customers.
