Web Designer

Joining a small and growing digital media team you’ll work across exciting online projects for a well-known UK Brand including eCommerce & B2B products. We are a friendly and collaborative multi-disciplinary team working within fast paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a fresh thinking designer to really make their mark.

The Web Designer will be responsible for producing marketing solutions across a variety of channels, using market research and analysing trends to develop marketing campaigns and promote products and services.

The Web Designer will contribute to marketing effectiveness by delivering short and long term activities, ensuring consistency and quality of all project output whilst identifying, implementing and executing activities that will support market growth by developing creative content, campaigns, marketing design and programs.

Factory Operatives

Here at Numatic we are growing and expanding, not only our product range but also our site, this means we need hard working and reliable people to join our team.

We are looking for the following roles:

  • Assembly Operatives

We run on various shifts to support each department with the products they need to complete final assembly, the shifts we offer are:

Days: 7:30 – 16:15 Monday – Thursday 07:30 – 12:30 Friday.
Double Days: 06: 00 – 14:00 Monday – Thursday 06:00 – 12:45 Friday alternating weekly with 14:00 – 22:00 Monday – Thursday 12:45 – 19:30 Friday

Field Service Engineers / Demonstrators

The Floorcare Demonstrator Engineer is accountable for providing pro-active day to day field support for the Floorcare equipment range to new and existing customers by:

  • Ensuring machines are fit for use (servicing and maintenance)
  • Demonstrating the benefits and capabilities of the Numatic International Floorcare range to ensure machines are appropriate for the application (supporting the achievement of sales) whilst providing new user training on a chosen site.

The Floorcare Demonstrator / Engineer will work remotely with the support of a small team, and sometimes using considerable discretion and independence will directly liaise with the customer / end user to identify, organise and provide the appropriate products and support.

The Floorcare Demonstrator Engineer is responsible for identifying appropriate support solutions for end users with minimal supervision to ensure customer needs are fully understood and efficiently and effectively met, including the benefits of Numatic International’s Service Level Agreement (SLA) schemes. Tasks will include direct communications with customers and the Field teams, both verbal and written whilst updating and accurately maintaining a customer database.

The Floorcare Demonstrator Engineer will provide technical advice and feedback to junior management and other internal teams relating to end user experience of the relevant product range and have the ability to successfully address a range of issues. Some tasks or assignments may be difficult and with peaks of pressure; the Floorcare Demonstrator Engineer will undertake procedures that will support continuous improvement and strategic change to contribute to the work of the department whilst supporting the celebration of local successes.

Resourcing Officer

Working as part of the HR team, the Resourcing Officer will be responsible for the provision of a cost-effective, operational, specialist resourcing solution to the organisation. Partnering with key stakeholders (including Department Managers, Department Heads, and the wider Management teams ), the Resourcing Officer will be responsible for delivering a robust resourcing strategy across the organisation with the objective of building a talent pipeline to continue reducing the costs and reliance on third-party suppliers of people-based services.

In this operational role, the Resourcing Officer will be very hands-on across senior, specialist and technical recruitment levels within the organisation, but in addition will be responsible for suggesting opportunities and contributing to the development and implementation of a compelling Resourcing strategy for the organisation to meet the future people needs of the business.

Import Materials Planner - Maternity Cover

Working within a small team, the Import Materials Planner is responsible for managing full import logistics & material supply chain activities to achieve on time production in the manufacturing plant for a specific list of components. Under the direction of the Purchasing & Supply Chain Manager, the key objective of the role is to deliver cost effective raw materials on time and in line with Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) schedule requirements and in compliance with UK import regulations.

The Materials Planner will liaise with third party logistic partners, suppliers and relevant internal teams, using a variety of communication methods, to gather, process and share relevant information for the procurement and expediting of orders.

The Import Materials Planner is responsible for the day to day procurement & supply chain process for specific suppliers. This will include ensuring relevant records are up to date and all relevant planning and administrative processes work effectively. Tasks will include prioritising with minimal supervision, whilst contributing in driving sustainable growth.

Key Account Manager

The Retail Key Account Manager will be accountable for the day to day performance of allocated key accounts, delivering operational objectives, leading and supporting projects. Responsible for analysing buying trends, product and services to identify new revenue streams for new and existing customers through bespoke joint business and innovation plans. The Retail Key Account Manager will be a subject matter expert in these areas and new product development to ensure maximum traction and sales of new products and services.

The Retail Key Account Manager is required to work strategically with an allocated portfolio of UK retail partners to promote the sale of Numatic International products and services whilst exceeding budgeted revenue growth. May be occasional peaks of pressure.

Category Buyer

The Buyer will be responsible for supporting high quality purchasing and category management requirements across a diverse supply base within area of specialism (New Product Introduction). Using significant technical knowledge and substantial influencing and negotiating skills the Buyer will have the key objective to deliver cost effective and flexible solutions in line with Category Buyers, through all stages of development to production release.

The Buyer will be accountable for effective communication to key internal stakeholders and suppliers, providing advice to managers to ensure purchasing requirements are in line with purchasing category strategies and the supply chains associated processes.

The Buyer will undertake sometimes complicated procedures that will support continuous improvement and contribute to the work of the department whilst supporting the celebration of local successes.

Electronics Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen within R&D to provide ongoing support for existing designs, at both schematic and PCB level. A current support engineer is required to update current products, specifying latest components due to obsolescence or component shortages. Primarily focused on power & embedded electronic solutions to control our existing & future product range.

You will engage with engineering, internal purchasing, and external suppliers to find an optimised solution for alternatives and support current products. To ensure the product meets the same expected ruggedness and durability through validating design and testing. You will report to Lead Engineer on current work tasks and progress.

Wiring and Harness Lead

You will manage development activities and team resource to align with project programs and deadlines & drive continuous improvement for best practise design, guidelines & rules.
Provide technical guidance & support to team members. Improve capability of team members through development and KPI reports.

You will engage with engineers and suppliers both internally and externally to ensure an optimised solution is engineered and support continuous improvement through innovation, commercialisation and business need.

Ensure that attention to detail, rectification of design error, and cost control, are considerations that you and your design team have at the forefront of your minds when engaged on design work – for both new and existing products.

Represent your team at meetings with other internal and external stakeholders, and to ensure that the interests of the technology department are properly represented and promoted in an appropriate and respectful manner.

Regularly review documentation detailing system requirements, compliance, performance & validation in accordance with product specifications .

Senior Product Designer

Due to expansion Numatic International are currently seeking an experienced Senior Product Designer to join their Research and Development Team.
You will study, research, design and develop ideas for new products and the systems used to make them as well as modify existing products to increase efficiency or improve performance. You will also support other Designers and Junior Designers in their work and encourage and develop their skills.
