Product Designer/Senior Product Design Engineers

About the Role:

Due to business growth and product expansion, we are seeking experienced Product Designers & Senior Product Design Engineers to join our Research and Development Team. You will study, research, design and develop ideas for new products and the systems used to make them, as well as modify existing products to increase efficiency or improve performance.


Our R&D team are a fast-paced team that are constantly updating and working with new technologies to ensure our products are up to date and offer the best solutions possible to our diverse customer base. Our site is located in Chard, on the Somerset, Devon, and Dorset borders, which offers a semi-rural lifestyle, access within 20 minutes to stunning coastal shorelines, and quick links to major towns and cities.

Service Care Advisor

About the Role:

The Service Care Advisor will be responsible for delivering excellence in customer service with ability to recognise customer needs whilst using expertise and demonstrating an extensive all-round product knowledge which will include identifying upselling opportunities. With a thorough understanding of Numatic International’s products and specialised customer requirements, the Service Care Advisor will triage product or service queries in the first instance, with the aim of providing an efficient service outcome. You will interact directly with new and existing Numatic International customers, using initiative and judgement to provide a timely reactive service to customer requirements and requests determined by demand and Service Level Agreement. The Service Care Advisor will be responsible for administrative system-based activities. Accountable for carrying out a variety of tasks ensuring relevant records are up to date and all administrative processes work effectively.

The role will include some on call weekend working. There is additional payment for this and it is arranged on a rota basis.

Customer Engagement Centre Supervisor

About the Role:

The Customer Engagement Centre Supervisor will be responsible for managing and leading a team of employees,
overseeing the day-to-day performance within the customer engagement centre. You will communicate departmental goals and service deadlines to the team, whilst ensuring the delivery of professional customer service within a sales focused environment.

You will have full knowledge of all aspects of the Customer Engagement Centre activities reflecting the multiskilled
environment and will manage information to best influence the performance of the team to deliver against Key Service KPI’s. You will be accountable for excellence in internal and external customer service provision, driving an increase in revenues and maximising up sell opportunities. In collaboration with the Marketing and Communication team you will understand social media impact and lead various social omni-channel campaigns to further enhance reach across all customer demographics.

About the Role:

The Contact Centre Trainer will be responsible for defining a structured learning journey for the Customer Engagement Team; to continue ongoing development. You will build a dedicated training resource that is focussed on improving the skillsets of the Customer Engagement Team.

You will plan your own work to meet set objectives and will work proactively and reactively, implementing activities to drive excellence in departmental training and be accountable for carrying out a variety of tasks ensuring relevant records are up to date and all administrative processes work effectively.

Providing specialist technical advice to junior and middle management, you will have responsibility for ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest of standards.

Team Leader

About the Role:

Hours of work: 07:30 – 16:15 (Monday to Thursday)  07:30 – 12:30 (Friday)

The Team Leader will oversee a designated area of the operations function as a support to the Supervisor, managing specific tasks and activities as delegated, including the direct organisation and supervision of day-to-day operations activities and resources to meet departmental targets and objectives, and the identification, resolution and escalation of problems and issues. This is a varied role requiring initiative, discretion, and judgement and at times you may deal with difficult situations that arise. You will work to support the smooth running of the department and the continuous improvement of safety, quality, and productivity key performance indicators (KPIs) in the operational business.

International Customer Coordinator

About the Role:

The International Customer Coordinator will be responsible for building and maintaining a strong working relationship with International customers and internal stakeholders. Working within a small team, you will assist with customer queries, documentation requirements, pricing, order status and shipping details, provide technical advice and guidance to international customers using a variety of communication methods

About the Role:

The Office and Facilities Manager will be responsible for managing and co-ordinating the physical facility infrastructure, ensuring a smooth operation whilst supporting teams with the necessary resources. Playing a crucial role to build team effectiveness, the Office and Facilities Manager will provide comprehensive day-to-day administrative support to a dynamic, in-house multi-disciplinary team. This role is tailored to someone with a background in engineering or science, possessing substantial expertise in intellectual property (IP) and the broader IP landscape or graduates with 2-3 years experience who have completed an approved intellectual property course.

About the Role:

The Studio / media apprentice will be at the centre of producing video and photography content in a fast-moving studio and location environment. Duties will include pre-production in planning for shoots, assisting in production, (lighting, set dressing etc) and postproduction using latest editing systems and software. You’ll be creating content that is key to promoting our business in the UK and internationally across Exhibition, e-commerce and social media platforms.

You will also have exposure to the wider media & marketing dept when required.

During the course of your apprenticeship, you will undertake a Level 3 qualification in Digital and Creative media as well as learn on the job, this will involve some College engagement.
